Addressing all finishes, flooring throughout, and furnishings, the house was completely updated, retaining its vintage architectural charms, while bringing the interior and exterior living areas into the 21st century.

Owners requested a contemporary interior within the existing bones of a Santa Barbara styled traditional ranch house. Having been expanded by prior owners, and being very grand, the home suffered being also bland, and somewhat expected.
Bold vision in fireplace surrounds, flooring, built-in cabinetry, and furnishings rescued the space from the ordinary. The owners selection of re-located and newly selected art work enlivens the reimagined spaces. Dramatic lighting upgrades are both stylistic and purposeful improvements while remaining relatively discrete.
